Welcome back. You are listening to Radio TF2.
We continue our program which today holds a special treat. Over the last week you were invited to call out your favourite TF2 songs, and from your suggestions we compiled a day of TF2 All Time Greats.
So here is your next request, a classic from the 60s by the most popular pop band - and avowing TF2 fans – in history, The Beatles. By the way, while it is well known that McCartney and Lennon did both play TF2 recreationally did you know that Ringo Starr played in a TF2 clan for several months? According to former teammates he was rubbish, though.
On that note let’s play a Beatles classic: „Let it be“, also known as the „Ragequit Song“ ...
There are times when all my game is rubbish
And my girlfriend looks at me:
"If you can’t enjoy it, let it be".
Other times it’s clear my team is sucking
We get steamrolled to the worst degree
There no point in anger, let it be.Let it be, let it be,
Let it be, oh let it be,
There’s a different game tomorrow, let it be.Three snipers but no medic
and two engys on offense I see.
I feel so much frustration, let it be.
The attack is getting nowhere,
There are stickies, also one sentry,
But our spy keeps killing snipers, let it be.Let it be, let it be,
Let it be, oh let it be,
Sometimes ragequit is the answer, let it be.There are times when everything goes fine,
My team is on a killing spree.
Teamwork’s just a joy and I’m happy.
But then my girl comes home
And I know what she expects from me.
Life can be so unfair, so let it be.Let it be, let it be,
Let it be, oh let it be,
There are many ways of losing, let it be.Let it be, let it be,
Let it be, oh let it be,
But I will be back tomorrow, you will see.
