I think sportsmanship and ’fairness’ are two slightly different issues. However, I don’t think of TF2 as a sport, and although I find myself thinking certain actions are unsporting, I can’t justify that with any logic. For example, repeatedly sticky camping the spawn area is ’fair’ (beatable, not glitching or cheating) but to me personally, very unsporting behaviour. I accept I’m on the lunatic fringe when it comes to being sporting and team balance.
